My name is Pauline and although i am English i have lived in the Netherlands for a while now. I have been brought up in a house full of knitting, my mum owned a knitting shop! So i have alot of experience with "the needles"
The baby knitting happened because i enjoy being creative with colour and styles and making things that a classic but with a modern feel. And because they make perfect presents for all my friends having babies...it is always something very personnal and a gift to be kept and passed on to other babies.
I always knit with natural fibres, wool,cotton,silk or cashmere. Synthetic fabrics are not nice for anybody to wear, definitely not babies. But wherever possible everything is machine washable. Everything is hand knit, I don't use a machine.
So, if you want classic or modern, in cotton or cashmere, cardigan or sweater....the possiblities are endless.
Bootees, blankets, toys and teddies but all hand knitted for you and your baby.
